If you’ve worked in any business before, whether as a corporate suit, or a desk worker, you’ll understand why business reputation management is important. Business reputation management is so important that it spawns careers of its own, which ironically enough has their own reputation management issues. You could have the best business in the world, but if you don’t have the right reputation management for that business you’re not going to be pulling in much of a profit. The reason that the reputation of your business is so important is because it’s directly tied into how much money you’ll make, and how much attention you’ll get. How many times have you been browsing the internet when you keep saying the same ads repeated over and over again, to the point where you have them memorized just from seeing the first second or two introducing them? Say that those advertisements were for carpeting, and you suddenly find yourself buying a new home with hardwood floors. You want to cover the floors up with carpets, and where will your mind immediately jump to when you start thinking of who does carpeting? Repetition isn’t all that matters in reputation management as that obviously doesn’t cover the reputation aspect.
